CHRYSOMELIDAE

Leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae) are a family of polyphagous beetles in the superfamily Chrysomeloidea. It is one of the largest families of beetles, with over 35,000 species, seven times more than mammals. They differ from longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae) in their short, thread-like antennae and generally more rounded body shape.
