HEMIPTERA(BUG)
Hemiptera (from the Greek , "half" and ν, "wing") is a large order of neopteran insects comprising approximately 104,000 species, distributed worldwide. Their name refers to the fact that in many of them the forewings (or hemelytra) are divided into a hard basal section and a membranous distal section. The former Homoptera, whose wings are entirely membranous, are also part of this order.
They are characterized by possessing a sucking mouthpart which, depending on the species, they use to suck sap or fluids from animals, such as hemolymph or blood. Among the best-known hemipterans are aphids, cicadas, and bed bugs (Cimicidae).
